The first two hours there wasn't much action. Another boat, the Searcher, had arrived for a three day stay at the island and seemed to be getting all of the action. Then Chewey showed up and started circling the boat. He spent a lot of time below the cages, which was actually nice because we put our cameras down and just watched. We even saw him devour a 4 foot tuna that was thrown over in about 3 gulps.

We came out of the water after an hour and discovered that the cinema cage was going back down, but no one wanted to go. We jumped at the chance and headed back down for a second time. This time we saw a shark circling around, and he even swam by our cage and checked us out. Very exciting!

One thing we had noticed during the week was that there were more multi-thousand dollar cameras stuffed into nooks and crannies around the boat, ready to be pulled out at a moment's notice, than we had ever seen before on a dive boat. Around 3pm we packed up the boat and headed for home. The ride was smoother than on the way out. Pepè made  marguerites  and Randy spent some time on the back deck with Lawrence and Douglas. They even had fishing lines hanging off the back which started spinning at the same time. Douglas' tuna broke free, but John landed his and 15 minutes later we had fresh tuna sashimi! We had lots of fun conversation over dinner and then headed to bed.
