Awake at 6:45, Randy took his first shower in the room. Those warm showers on the dive deck had been great during the week! We finished packing and then headed down to the lounge for a continental breakfast. We said our good byes to the other passengers and made sure everyone had the website address so they could check out pictures once they got home. Seven of us boarded a taxi for the airport, all of our flights left around noon.

At the airport we slowly checked in and passed through security; things were just opening up. Our flight was right on time; some of the passengers headed through Houston we delayed about 4 hours due to weather. Laurie was on our flight to Miami and sat right in front of us. During the flight Randy worked on editing the octopus video and had some people across the aisle watching as he did it.

In Miami we went through immigration where a polite but firm immigration officer informed us that good old Uncle Sam wouldn't acknowledge our marriage; Rick had to fill out his own entry form (we were pretty insulted, but I guess we have to be patient on this one, it's only 2 months ago that we were officially married...).

The Miami airport seems very closed in: low ceilings, very tight spaces around the baggage and departure areas. Fortunately we weren't there very long, only about half an hour to wait before our flight to SFO. The flight was about 6 hours; Rick napped a lot, Randy used the time cleaning up all of our pictures and getting the web pages put together, then we both looked through all of the pictures. On the ground in San Francisco we were greeted by a very cute limo driver who carted all of our stuff to the car and deposited us at our front door in short order. Rick ran around the back yard for a bit to check on all the plants, then we watched Survivor in bed and fell fast asleep.

Epilogue

What an awesome trip it had been. A super friendly and attentive crew, a beautiful and well laid out boat, perfect weather and 13 great diving companions. Who could have asked for a better week?

Our Fantastic Crew

The Belize Aggressor III was clearly designed from the start as a dive boat, the dive deck is huge, nice big gear stations with wetsuit hangers above each one. A nice centrally located camera table, big roomy dive platform, and those great warm showers. Captain Sam and his crew went out of their way to make our week a great one. They were always smiling, always ready to jump in the water with you and show you some sea life you'd never seen before. The other passengers were wonderful, we enjoyed hanging out with each and every one of them. Thanks to everyone who made our third liveaboard such a great time.

Now our only question is, where next? Currently Fiji and Palau are at the top of the list, we'll likely do both of them in the next year or two, and we're sure it will be aboard the Aggressor boats in both locations.
