When we finished our last dive trip aboard the Bay Islands Aggressor back in September, we knew we wanted to do another liveaboard. We chose the Belize Aggressor since we'd heard good things about Belize and we definitely liked the Aggressor. We made plans in January and then waited patiently for the date to arrive...
After waking up at 3:30am (yikes!), our limo picked us up at 4:15 and we headed to SFO for our 6am American Airlines flight. After boarding we were told that there would be a 45 minute delay due to weather in Dallas, but they assured us that all of the flights in Dallas were delayed, so we wouldn't miss our connections. In Dallas Randy and Rick met Rick's Dad, Fred, and all boarded our second flight, which, as promised, was also 45 minutes late. We didn't feel too badly that we were up in first class and Fred was back in coach since Rick said his parents had done the reverse to him when he was younger! In Belize City we were greeted with a blast of warm humid air as we left the plane, it felt great. After retrieving our dive gear from another passenger who hadn't checked luggage tags very carefully(!), we travelled to the Belize Radisson where the Belize Aggressor was docked.

We boarded the boat and were shown around. Our room was on the upper deck (the other 8 cabins were below deck). It was a nice big room with a double bed and it's own head and shower. More and more passengers arrived, until all 14 were aboard. The other passengers were: Laurel, Gina, Howard & Michelle, Deborah & Jim, Stuart, John, Patty & Mark, Doug and one passenger, Ann, who'd be joining us the next day due to a missed plane connection. Captain Sam gave us a briefing about what to expect for the week ahead. The weather forecast was good, which was good news! He then introduced the crew: Chris, Jay, Caroline, Thelma and Anna. Everyone seemed very friendly and ready for a fun week.
We had a great dinner and talked with the other passengers, then made sure our dive and camera gear was all set up for the next morning. Around 9:30 we headed to bed to get a good night sleep. Tomorrow morning we dive!
