The rest of the group woke up early for a 4:30am departure since they had an earlier flight than us. We woke up at 5:30 for a 6am departure. At the airport we breezed through border control and went straight to the lounge. Saw the other guys for about 10 minutes before they boarded their plane. We had another hour before we boarded a Delta 767 with nice lie flat seats for our 7 hour flight to Atlanta. The mask mandate on planes had ended a few days beforehand; we wore our masks in the airports and while boarding, but took them off during the flight as the seats were quite well spaced apart. Had about an hour in the Atlanta lounge, then boarded our final flight to SF. Arrived home around 10pm (just in time to go out dancing with some friends!).
