Wednesday - March 17, 2021
Did early workouts with Mickey, then packed up and headed south. Drove through Monterrey and south towards Big Sur. The weather was pretty cloudy, but no rain. Checked in to Big Sur Campground, had a nice site between some massive redwood trees. Relaxed for the afternoon. Our friends Rob & Tomas (& Juno!) arrived in their Sprinter around 8pm. There were a couple of sites full of people next to theirs, so we moved them over next to us for the night. Then it was time for bed.

Thursday - March 18, 2021
After breakfast we moved Rob & Tomas to their assigned site, then we all went for a hike through the woods to the north. Had a great time, it was a really pretty trail. Back at the campground we all made lunch and then sat behind our RV around the fire ring to eat. In the early evening it was starting to rain lightly so we moved the fire ring under the awning next to the RV and all sat under cover to eat dinner and drink wine. Really great to catch up with them.
