On Thursday March 25 we flew up to Seattle for a weekend with Rick's family. Friday morning Rick's parents and Jim, Katie and Ellie headed up with us to Snoqualmie Falls, then over to Newcastle Golf Club for lunch with a view of Seattle in the distance. Friday evening we all had dinner at Cactus in Madison Park, then back to the Four Seasons where we were staying for a dip in the hot tub.
Saturday morning we drove up Skagit Valley to see the tulips, where we met up with Chris, Shannon, Julia and Leah. We drove up to Bellingham, had lunch, then drove over to see the property where Chris and Shannon are building a house this summer.
After some pizza and kid's time we headed back to Seattle. Rick and Randy had a few cocktails in the lobby bar where we were joined by our friend Jason for a bit. Sunday morning we had brunch with Karin, Robert, Kat and Smantha. Afterwards it was off to Fred and Katie's for the afternoon.
