For the last day of diving we were up early and the boat had moved back to Black Forest. As we were getting ready on board Heath asked if Randy would take a picture of him and Mini down below, since it was Mini's 200th dive. He was being a bit 'odd' when he asked, but we didn't think much of it.
Down below as we were nearing the end of the dive we found them and got ready to take the picture. Heath wrote 200th dive on his slate, then erased it and wrote "Marry Me?" on it and showed it to Mini! She took it and wrote "Yes!". There were about 8 divers who were watching at this point, and we all started clanking our rattles. It was really awesome. (It was actually our 150th dive as well!)
Back on board there was lots of excitement and smiles all around. After getting to know them during the week, we're sure they are going to be very happy together!
Lucy showed us a video from the week, she did a great job of catching everyone in and out of the water.
The boat returned to the harbor and (after a touchy extra-low tide entry through the channel) we docked at the marina. Some people went for walks while we hung out on the boat with some of the other guests.
At 5:30 there was a farewell cocktail party where Pete, Kevin, Phil and Becky all received their Nitrox certifications from their class during the week. Then we had a really funny "graduation" ceremony hosted by Mike and Mike. It was a complete riot and had everyone laughing really hard. Then we all went onshore and had dinner as a group at the Tiki Hut. Then it was off to bed... our last night on the boat.
